You can change your plan whenever you like, just know that when you do change, it will be effective immediately, and any unused allowances at the time will be forfeited.

If you’re bringing your number with you to LOCO Mobile, you’ll need to know the date of birth you used to sign up to your current plan if you are on pre-paid, or your account number if you are a post-paid customer.

If you’re unsure of your contract status, it’s best you check with your current service provider before bringing your service to LOCO Mobile as you may be liable for termination charges. The good news with LOCO Mobile is that if you want to leave us, you’re free to go without any nasty charges.

LOCO Mobile is what’s known as a Virtual Network Mobile Operator (VNMO), meaning we utilise the network infrastructure of another service provider, in this case it is Telstra. This is the reason you’ll see Telstra instead of LOCO Mobile.

We’ve had quite a few inquiries about these types of plans, unfortunately we do not have them at this time, but it is on our roadmap.

If you’re out of mobile coverage and need to access data, we’d recommend tapping into a Wi-Fi network if it’s available. Unfortunately, we do not support Wi-Fi calling right now, so if you are out of a mobile coverage area you will not be able to make or receive calls and texts.

LOCO Mobile is a pre-paid service, meaning you don’t actually have a bill or billing cycle as such. All of our mobile plans do however come with a 28 day expiry.

When your friends connect their mobile service to one of LOCO Mobile’s plans, we will give your sports club $4.50 for every month that service stays connected. Your friend will need to tell us which sports club they want to nominate. For more information, click here

Data

You won’t be able to use the internet or any apps that require data. We will send you SMS notifications at 50%, 85% and 100% so you’ll know when you’re getting close to your limit. You can also top-up your data by logging into your account here

No. LOCO Mobile’s data allowances is for use in Australia only.

Calls & Text

You’ll need to purchase a premium calls & texts bolt-on to be able to make these calls. Unfortunately we do not support calls to satellite phones.
